The Department of Finance is responsible for the management of the Calhoun ISD’s total budget of over $69 million in its four major funds. Each fund is treated as a separate entity or business, as is required by law since the revenue in some of the funds have restrictions regarding how the funds can be used.
The Department of Finance provides business services for four local districts and continually reviews its structure to remain a supportive resource for the local districts. The Finance Department is also available to our local districts to answer questions regarding school finance and accounting.
