Special Education

The Calhoun ISD Special Education Division serves over 3,000 students with Individual Education Plans (IEP).  We are proud of our ISD, our professional staff and the positive outcomes that our students achieve when families and schools work together.

Our highly trained staff provides a continuum of services for children birth to 26 years of age who qualify for special education programming.  In addition, our staff provide training to area special educators in order that our practices are consistent.
