Programming and Video Game Design

Program Description

Programming & Video Game Design is a one or two-year course that focuses on learning the logic and code for video games and Internet of Things (IOT) devices.  Students will learn to code 2D and 3D video games and other associated skills, such as photo editing, to use in their games.  The course also teaches students to wire and code IOT using Raspberry Pi and Arduino Boards.  The IOT devices read input from sensors and perform tasks based on the detected values.  No prior coding experience necessary.  Enrollment is open to Juniors and Seniors alike.  Languages studied include, Python, Arduino (C++), Bash, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and more.  Certification options are available.
