Law Enforcement

Students explore and prepare for exciting law enforcement careers through hands-on, real-world training. Major areas of study include police procedure, crime scene investigation, criminal and civil law, police operations, report writing, public speaking, human relations, physical fitness, and specialized areas within the criminal justice system — all while building the confidence, professionalism, and leadership skills today's employers demand. Regardless of your law enforcement goal, this program gives 11th and 12th graders a head start on a rewarding career serving their community.

Criminal Justice

Students will take an immersive journey through the criminal justice process, exploring the critical role each stage plays in the broader legal system. The curriculum covers foundational concepts in criminal law and procedure, ethics in policing, and the administrative pathways of both misdemeanor and felony cases from initial incident to trial and sentencing. Through interactive classroom instruction and practical exercises, students learn to read, analyze, and write professional crime reports while developing essential active listening and written and verbal communication skills.

Both programs use dynamic, highly interactive teaching tools, including scenario-based training in a simulation house, MILO simulator exercises, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and Stop the Bleed training. Students also gain practical exposure through guest speakers, career connection events, job shadows, and work-based learning internships with local public safety agencies, courts, and correctional facilities.
